Hot Water Package
An instant hot water heater, plumbed into your build and preinstalled on your sink. Hot and cold on the same faucet.
Hot water is the difference between a cart that can wash and a cart that can only rinse. This package adds an instant heater to your build, plumbed in and ready to go before the build leaves the shop, with a hot side and a cold side on the sink.
Two things follow from that, and they are the reason this page exists rather than a line in a cart.
It is preinstalled, so it is ordered with a build
The heater arrives mounted and plumbed to your sink. It is not a box of parts you retrofit later, which means it belongs on the order for the cart, not on a separate order after the cart has shipped. It needs the right pump under it
Our two pump systems are not equally suited to a water heater. The Simple Mounted Pump is not recommended with a water heater. The Backbone is compatible with the water heater add-on. If your build is specced with the simple pump and you want hot water, the pump has to change first.

Health code requirements vary by county, and hot water is one of the first things an inspector looks for. If your build has to be submitted for county health department approval, start with the permitting process so the specs are signed off before anything is cut.

Getting it to you
Because the heater is installed on the build, it ships with the build. Freight on an assembled build is quoted by region, in these ranges: roughly $450–$650 on the West Coast, $550–$750 through the Midwest and Texas, $650–$900 on the East Coast. The actual number is quoted with your build estimate. We ship direct across the US. Canada is freight you book yourself, which customs makes the cleaner way to do it.
