Tiers & pricing

What's the difference between DIY, Semi-Custom, Signature, and Custom Elite?

DIY ships pre-cut and pre-drilled in a flat-pack box. You assemble it yourself in about an hour with one Allen key. $999.

Semi-Custom is our option menu. You pick the size, panel style, finish and add-ons, and the page prices it before you order. From $1,000.

Signature is one of six pre-designed builds. Locked spec, you choose the finish. From $1,750.

Custom Elite is a fully bespoke build. It starts with a 45-minute design call with Sam. Plumbing, permit-prep, anything specific to your venue. From $5,000.

When is it Semi-Custom and when is it Custom Elite?

Semi-Custom is the option menu. You pick the size, the panel style, the finish and the add-ons, and the page prices it before you order. From $1,000.

Custom Elite is anything off that menu: a shape we don't list, a build sized to your venue, plumbing past a starter line, permit-prep. It starts with a 45-minute design call with Sam. From $5,000. Price a Semi-Custom build.

Can I add a sink or plumbing to a Signature build?

No. Signature is locked spec. The Coffee Bar has a pre-cut port for a single water line and The Espresso has channels routed for a water line. Anything past that, sinks, three-compartment configurations, hot-water plumbing, is Custom Elite. Apply for Custom Elite.

Are the prices on the site final?

Semi-Custom and Signature pages show a live total for the options you select. That total is what we quote. Custom Elite pricing is set after Sam's discovery call and depends on the build. The $5,000 floor is a real floor.

ii.

Ordering & payment

How does payment work?

Semi-Custom, Signature and Custom Elite use a 45/35/20 split. 45% deposit at signing, 35% when the build enters production, 20% before shipping. All through QuickBooks. DIY is paid in full at order, like any product.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, checks, ACH transfer, and cash (local pickup only). All invoices are sent through QuickBooks Payments. We do not offer payment plans.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. The 45% deposit is non-refundable, and the Project Agreement says so in writing. By the time you have signed and paid, we have ordered material and reserved time on the floor.

How long does our team take to respond to inquiries?

One business day. Every form submission goes to the team directly.

iii.

The build

What materials do you use?

We work primarily with Baltic birch for the structure and hard maple for trim and edging. For builds that include metalwork details, we partner with a local vendor and provide a separate quote for that portion of the work.

How long does a build last?

Five-plus years of weekly use is typical.

Can I see a build in progress?

You're welcome to stop in during regular hours to see what we're currently working on.

iv.

Shipping & pickup

Where do you ship?

We ship direct across the US. Canada is freight you book yourself, which customs makes the cleaner way to do it. Each build is carefully custom crated and freight shipped. The DIY flat pack goes UPS or FedEx.

How much is shipping?

Freight is quoted by region. West Coast typically $450–$650, Midwest and Texas $550–$750, East Coast $650–$900. Those are regional ranges, not a quote for your build. We send your actual freight cost with the build estimate.

Can I pick up locally?

Yes. We're located at 22445 E La Palma Ave, Suite J, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. Pickup is available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Schedule a window with us when the build is ready.

v.

Health permits

Do you handle health permits?

Permits are not included with the build. RidgeCraft is a woodworking and fabrication business. We are not permitting consultants, health code specialists, or regulatory advisors. Our role is to build your equipment to your specifications. Collect your county's requirements first and we will build to them. The permit itself is yours to file.

Do you file the permit for me?

No. Bring us your county's requirements and we build to them. Submitting the application to your county is on you. We don't submit applications or follow up with health departments. Every county runs slightly differently, and they are the source of truth, not us.

What's NSF certification?

NSF International is the third-party body that certifies food-service equipment. Whether your build needs NSF-certified equipment depends on your county's permit requirements. Our standard options are not NSF rated, and NSF-certified pitcher rinsers start around $250. If your permit requires certified equipment, tell us during quoting and we'll source the right option for your county.

vi.

Care & repair

Can you refinish a cart that's been beat up?

Yes. Drop it off at the shop or ship it freight. We sand and refinish for $300–$500 depending on the build.

vii.

Changes, refunds, returns

Can I change the spec mid-build?

Changes after an order is placed require a Change Order. There is a $50 flat fee plus any additional material and labor costs. Changes during active production may not always be possible. We ask that all specs are confirmed before your project agreement is signed — that's the best way to avoid delays and extra costs.

What is your refund and warranty policy?

We do not offer refunds and we do not offer a warranty. Once a build leaves the shop we have no say in how it gets used or how it gets transported, and we will not promise against damage we cannot see. What we will do is this: if something has a major defect, or a piece of hardware fails, tell us and we will fix it.

What if I just change my mind?

Before deposit, no cost. After deposit and a signed agreement, the deposit is forfeit. We tell you that in advance and in writing.
